Learn the knowledge, understanding and skills required to be able to plan and instruct Pilates mat work sessions and provide Pilates teaching in our Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Mat Work (RQF). Students will be able to prepare, instruct, demonstrate and evaluate a Pilates mat work session, whilst understanding what Pilates instructors require to maintain health, safety and welfare in a fitness orientated environment.

Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is required to enrol onto our Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Mat Work course.

For those you have not completed this course, Entire Training provide the Level 2 Gym Instructor course for just £425.

The course itself is made up of 6 units, offering both a practical and theory-based learning opportunity. Our tutors have over 20 years of industry experience, giving all our students the opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience.

Pilates Mat Work Instructor Course Units

Unit 1: Anatomy and Physiology

Unit 2: Health and safety

Unit 3: Principles of exercise health and fitness

Unit 4: Supporting clients

Unit 5: Programming Pilates sessions

Unit 6: Delivering Pilates sessions

The Level 3 Pilates Instructor course takes 6-8 weeks to complete. This can be completed nationwide through our distance learning delivery method and assessed via course work and practical based video assessments. Students will be expected to complete online portfolio work utilising the e-learning platform, and tutor support that will deliver both the practical and theory-based understanding.

There are certain qualifications that you must achieve before you enrol onto the Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Mat Work. You can only obtain the Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Mat Work if you have completed the Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.

Following completion of our Level 3 Diploma in Pilates Mat Work package you will be able to get insured as a Pilates Instructor. You can then kickstart your career whether that’s; • Teaching freelance classes in private gyms and health clubs • Teaching Pilates in a dance school or college • Working in fitness wellbeing programmes • Working overseas in fitness retreats, holiday resorts and cruise ships • Working in an exclusive Pilates studio • Teaching in local authority facilities • Working privately with clients on a one-to-one basis
